2026 Summer Camp Music Festival cancelled

CHILLICOTHE (25News Now) - A yearly music festival that thousands look forward to each summer is now cancelled again.

The 2026 “Summer Camp” music festival will no longer be happening this year.

The event has drawn fans of all types of music to Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe each summer for years.

Organizers posted on Facebook that the event has been cancelled due to “unforeseen financial circumstances involving a third-party service provider,” and that the festival would not be able to be held safely or responsibly this year.

Organizers wrote that people who have purchased tickets should refer to the point of purchase for information regarding refunds and credits.

The last full-scale summer camp was three years ago in 2023.

In 2024, Summer Camp was condensed. They planned to bring it back in 2025, but pivoted to a rebranded concert series on Peoria’s Riverfront; however, that was cancelled as well.

This year’s festival would have marked its 25th anniversary.
