Peoria’s Demanes Animal Hospital closed until May 11

PEORIA (25News Now) - A Peoria veterinary clinic, Demanes Animal Hospital, is closed until Monday, May 11.

According to the animal hospital’s Facebook page, the office on North Wisconsin Avenue was closed on Thursday of last week because no doctor was available. It’s unclear if the temporary closure this week is for the same reason or some other reason. 25News reached out to the clinic but received no response.

Clinic staff said in a social media post, “We are deeply sorry for the stress and inconvenience this has caused you and your family. Your pets mean the world to us, and being unable to be there for them weighs heavily on our hearts.”

In the meantime, they directed people to reach out to Peoria Area Veterinary Group for any animal care.
