Man from Normal identified in fatal Woodford County motorcycle crash

WOODFORD COUNTY (25News Now) - Wednesday afternoon, the Peoria County Coroner identified the motorcyclist involved in a crash with a pickup truck on Tuesday in Woodford County.

Allen M. Skaggs, 42, of Normal, was taken to OSF in Peoria in grave condition and was pronounced deceased at 9:12 a.m. Tuesday, according to Coroner Jamie Harwood. He said Skaggs suffered non-survivable traumatic injuries from of the collision.

While toxicology testing is pending per state statue, Harwood said it is not known if Skaggs was wearing a helmet.

The crash is being investigated.
