Going to Grossinger Motors Arena? Leave the cash at home

BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) - Grossinger Motors Arena is going cashless starting May 1.

The City of Bloomington Arts & Entertainment Department says all guests in attendance starting on May 1 will only be able to make purchases with cards or mobile payment at the venue.

Forms of payments accepted at parking facilities as well as merchandise areas may still vary per event

The department says the change is to minimize wait times and for a better overall experience with guests as well as an adaptation of modern venue industry standards as similar venues have shifted to cashless since 2020.
