Mom, son identified as two of three bodies found in foreclosed home auctioned to new owner, officials say
BURLINGTON, Conn. (WFSB/Gray News) - Two of the three bodies found in a foreclosed home that was auctioned to a new owner in Connecticut have been identified, authorities said.
A press release issued Sunday by Chief Medical Examiner James R. Gill identified them as 54-year-old Sally Ann Cash and her son, 23-year-old Brian Cash.
The causes of death are pending.
State troopers responded at 4:46 p.m. June 14 to a report of human remains in the home.

A new homebuyer who purchased the structure “as is” at a foreclosure auction discovered the skeletal remains of three people in the house.
Town records show the house was bought in 2019 by Paul and Sally Ann Cash for more than $800,000.
The four-bedroom home, built in 2002 on a little more than two acres, was foreclosed on and sold at auction to a new buyer earlier this month.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has not determined a cause of death. State police said there was no indication of anything suspicious or of any criminal aspect.
The third person is still unidentified.
