2 dead after crashing car during test drive: police

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV/Gray News) - Wisconsin authorities say two people died last week in a crash while on a test drive.

According to the Madison Police Department, the crash occurred on Friday with a vehicle from a local car dealership that was out on a test drive around 3:25 p.m.

Police said two people in the vehicle, ages 65 and 64, died following the collision on Commercial Avenue.

The pair crashed into another car that was being driven by a 53-year-old woman who was attempting to make a left turn into a parking lot, authorities said.

Madison police reported that the 53-year-old driver has been cooperating with investigators as their investigation continues.

Those involved in the crash were not immediately identified.
