Washington man indicted on aggravated criminal sexual abuse

WASHINGTON (25News Now) - A Washington man has been indicted on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
According to the bill of indictment, Brian Minassian is alleged to have sexually abused someone under the age of 18.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Aug. 21, the juvenile was interviewed by a child forensic interviewer. Minassian allegedly massaged the juvenile’s butt and continued to inappropriately touch the minor.
The juvenile described feeling scared, explaining he felt so scared in the moment he froze and did not say anything, according to the affidavit.
According to the affidavit, forensic downloads of cellular devices corroborated the disclosures made by the juvenile. During the course of the investigation, a Washington Police detective discovered several other accusations against Minassian for similar conduct.
According to an online lookup Friday of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Minassian has an active license to be a registered professional nurse that expires in 2026.
