UPDATE: One hospitalized after shooting near Lexington Hills apartments in Peoria

UPDATE (Sunday February 12, 3:15 p.m.) - Peoria Police are releasing new information about a shooting that happened near Lexington Hills apartments.
According to a release from the Peoria Police Department, officers found a vehicle parked in the middle of the road when they arrived at the scene on Oakcrest Drive. That’s where they found a man inside with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
This incident is still under investigation, and there is no suspect information.
