Pedestrian hit by truck in Farmington late Monday afternoon

FULTON COUNTY (25News Now) - A person was hit by a truck late Monday afternoon in Farmington.
A Fulton County official said first responders were called to the intersection of East Fort and North Cone Streets.
The official said the victim was breathing and conscious, and the truck had significant damage.
A LifeFlight helicopter was called to the scene to transport the injured person to a hospital, but the chopper couldn’t fly because of the weather.
Authorities have reopened the road after the victim received initial treatment at the scene and driven to an area hospital.
