Chiddix Jr. High will have e-learning after water main break affects in-person classes

NORMAL (25News Now) - A “major” water main break will send junior high students at Chiddix to e-learning on Tuesday.
McLean County Unit 5 says there was no school due to a water main break that resulted in water in several classrooms, as well as no water service to the building, no bathrooms and no ability to serve lunch.
Monday afternoon, the district says all after-school activities and practices are canceled through November 26.
The boy’s basketball team will play tonight’s game at Mahomet-Seymour.
The district says it fully intends to resume in-person classes next Monday.
