Washington’s Jase Harlan a giant on the football field despite 5-foot-9 frame

(25News Now) - Washington senior captain Jase Harlan is a tackling machine on defense and a physical, lead-blocking fullback on offense. From the way he plays and the production he has, you’d figure he’d be a physical giant as well, but then you watch him on the field and look at the Washington roster and realize he stands just 5-foot-9, 180 pounds.
But he’s embraced that underdog, undersized mentality and is just fine with being a terrific, albeit undersized, football standout for the state semifinal-bound Panthers.
