Warmer through Thursday, cooler but still mild by Friday
PEORIA (25News Now) - Our forecast will remain on repeat for one more day with warmer temperatures and sunny skies for the midweek. An area of low pressure will begin to slide east for the end of the work week which will bring cooler conditions along with the chance for some scattered showers.
If you have been enjoyed the weather the last few days, expect much of the same for Wednesday! High pressure will keep our forecast quiet and mild for one more day. Temperatures will climb to the mid to upper 60′s making it the warmest day of the week so far. It will be another great day to enjoy some time outside.

Thursday will remain warm with highs in the mid 60′s, but we will see clouds build throughout the day as an area of low pressure approaches from the west. The low pressure center will pass to our north, but we will see a cold front associated with the area of low pressure arrive Thursday night into Friday morning. This cold front will drive scattered showers through the region into early Friday morning’s forecast.

Most of the rainfall is expected while most of us are asleep, but a few showers will look to linger into the morning commute. Once the cold front passes, we will quickly clear out Friday to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler, but still mild Friday. Daytime highs will trend in the upper 40′s to lower 50′s, putting us on par with our seasonal averages for this time of year.

Quiet weather will return for the weekend before additional showers return early next week. As on now, our Thanksgiving forecast looks dry but cool with highs in the mid to lower 40′s.
