Florida man identified as victim of fatal multi-vehicle crash in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) - A man from Tampa, Florida was identified as the semi driver who died in a semi crash involving multiple vehicles Monday.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder says the man, Demario L. Coleman, 38, died from probable carbon monoxide due to inhalation of smoke and soot and thermal burns from the crash.
She says the semi reportedly struck vehicles, left the road, overturned and caught fire.
Toxicology testing is pending.
The crash remains under investigation by the coroner’s office, Illinois State Police and Bloomington Fire Department.
Illinois State Police say the crash happened on Interstate 74 near milemarker 134 near the split with I-55.
