Man suspected in Feb. homicide arrested, Peoria Police say
PEORIA (25News Now) - A man wanted in connection with a homicide in February has been arrested.
Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says 21-year-old Donte T. Agnew was extradited back to Peoria County Thursday after being arrested in Crown Point, Indiana.
He was arrested and booked on preliminary charges of first-degree murder for the shooting death of Davion J. Parker, who was 18. The shooting happened at the Lexington Hills Apartments in Peoria.
Roth says the search continues for the other suspect, Torreon Carey.
Carey is described as a Black man, around 5 feet 9 inches and 180 pounds with long black hair and brown eyes.
