(25News Now) - We are now down to the final four in all 8 classes of the IHSA football playoffs and those Final Fours include two teams from Central Illinois. In Class 7A, Normal Community scored the final 31 points of the game to rally and beat Glenbard East 45-28. The Ironmen now advance to play Downers Grove North in next week’s state semifinal.

In Class 6A, Washington looked every bit the part of a dominant team in a 59-16 win over Chatham Glenwood. The Panthers will now host defending state champion East St. Louis in next week’s state semifinal on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Babcook Field.

In Class 3A, Olympia’s terrific season came to an end with a 56-30 loss to unbeaten Roxana. Meanwhile in 2A, Bloomington Central Catholic’s outstanding season is over after a 35-11 loss to unbeaten Maroa-Forsyth.

In volleyball, Morton and Hartem wrapped up terrific seasons with a fourth place finish in Class 3A and a second place finish in Class 1A respectively.
