1 dead after 2-vehicle crash in Normal earlier Friday

NORMAL (25News Now) - The McLean County Coroner says one person died after a two-vehicle crash earlier Friday.
Coroner Kathy Yoder says one person was ejected from a vehicle after the crash on Rivian Motorway at Electric Drive.
Illinois State Police say the crash happened at around 6:44 a.m. Both vehicles were traveling North on Rivian Motorway.
The driver was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Identification and next of kin notification are pending.
Autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
The crash is being investigated by the coroner’s office and Illinois State Police.
