Man arrested after reported business burglary, says police

PEORIA (25News Now) - A man was arrested after being seen fleeing the area of a business alarm on a bicycle.
Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says the man, identified as 28-year-old Tyrice L. Johnson, was stopped a short distance from the scene at around 12:51 a.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of North Sterling.
He was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary, criminal damage to property and obstructing police.
He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
