25 Sports High School Friday Part 2 - November 3, 2023 - Saturday Preview

(25News Now) - We take a look ahead at a busy Saturday of high school sports around Central Illinois.

The high school football playoffs continue on Saturday with round two action. In Class 7A, Normal Community looks to move to 11-0 as they host Bradley-Bourbonnais at 6 p.m.

In Class 6A, Normal West hits the road to take on mighty East St. Louis at 1 p.m. while Washington hosts Crete-Monee at 3 p.m.

In Class 2A, Bloomington Central Catholic hosts Farmington in an all-Central Illinois playoff matchup at 1 p.m. Elsewhere in 2A, Tri-Valley renews its playoff rivalry with Wilmington with a home game at 2 p.m.

Other games include, Peoria Notre at Harrisburg in Class 4A, Olympia at Greenville and Lombard Montini at Prairie Central in Class 3A and Stark County at ROWVA and LeRoy at Belleville Althoff in Class 1A.

The cross country state finals are also Saturday as the state’s best head to Peoria’s Detweiller Park to compete for state championships.
