1 person suffers smoke inhalation from fire at Bloomington business

BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) - One person suffered smoke inhalation from a fire Wednesday afternoon in southeast Bloomington.

Bloomington firefighters said they were called shortly before 3 p.m. to a business near the corner of Morrissey Drive and Beechwood Avenue. It appeared to be the Reliable Heating and Cooling building, which had smoke and water damage, according to the fire department.

A news release said a person with smoke inhalation was taken to the hospital but is expected to recover.

No firefighters were hurt.

The fire department did not provide a dollar estimate of the damage.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, according to the department’s news release.
