(25News Now) - As we enter the final week of the high school soccer season, three teams from Central Illinois are still in the running for state championships.

In Class 2A, defending state champion Peoria Notre Dame beat Central Illinois rival Dunlap 2-1 on Saturday to win the Peoria sectional. They will now take on Chicago Brother Rice at the Lewis University Super-Sectional on Tuesday at 5 p.m. with a trip to state on the line.

In Class 1A, Peoria Christian is headed back to state for the first time since 2010. The Chargers downed Johnsburg 4-1 on Saturday to win the IVC Super-Sectional. PCS is set to take on Winnetka North Shore Country Day in a state semifinal on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Also in 1A, Normal U-High is in the state final four. The Pioneers beat Herscher 3-0 on Saturday to advance to state where they’ll take on Columbia in a state semifinal. If both U-High and Peoria Christian win, we’ll see an all-Central Illinois state championship game on Saturday.
