Attempted murder suspect ‘armed and dangerous’, according to police
UPDATE - Peoria Police are asking for the public’s help to find Tywahnn K. Tillman, who’s accused of trying to kill a Big Al’s bouncer by shooting him in the head early Monday.
In a news release Thursday night, police advised the public not to approach Tillman because he’s “armed and dangerous.”
The bullet passed through the bouncer and hit a second man, according to the Peoria County State’s Attorney.

Tillman, who’s 35, has a long criminal history, according to jail and court records. He’s 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds, according to records from 2021.
PEORIA (25News Now) - A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Peoria man accused of shooting a bouncer in the head at Big Al’s Gentlemen’s Club on Southwest Jefferson Avenue early Monday morning.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office said Thursday that Tywahnn K. Tillman, 35, has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and possession of a weapon as a felon.
Based on statements from witnesses and surveillance video, investigators believe Tillman was kicked out of the club after getting into a fight with the bouncer. Tillman allegedly went to a car to get a gun, returned to Big Al’s and shot the bouncer, who had his back turned to Tillman.
The bouncer was shot in the head. The bullet passed through the bouncer and struck a second victim, according to the state’s attorney’s news release. Conditions of the two victims are not available, but police said at the time that one of the men suffered life-threatening injuries.
