Man taken to hospital after late afternoon shooting

PEORIA (25News Now) - A man was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the area of Peoria’s Central Peoria and East Bluff neighborhoods.
Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says that at around 3:30 p.m., police were called to Wisconsin and Forrest Hill avenues for a six-round ShotSpotter alert.
They found the man with apparent gunshot wounds.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Police are investigating. There is currently no suspect information.
