4 arrested in ‘CHAOS’ task force operation

LIVINGSTON COUNTY (25News Now) - 4 people have been arrested during an operation investigating people using children online for sexual purposes.

The CHAOS task force arrested Colton E. Myers, from Congerville; Jeremy D. Myers, from Streator; Brandin A. Atterberry, from Springfield; and Richard D. Tull, from Piper City, on offenses ranging from indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a child and grooming.

The “Crimes Happening Against Our Students” task force says the operation happened Friday.

Fairbury, Chatsworth and El Paso police, the Woodford County Sheriff’s Office VCOMM911, Livingston County and Woodford County state’s attorneys’ offices were all involved.
