1 injured, 2 arrested after shooting in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) - 2 people were arrested on weapons offenses after police say someone was shot - all in the same vehicle.

Bloomington Police say 19-year-old Cierra M. Sibley, of Champaign, was arrested on preliminary offenses of reckless discharge of a firearm, reckless conduct with great bodily harm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Also arrested was 19-year-old Destiyon A. Anderson, of Bloomington, for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Police say that around midnight Friday into Saturday, police were called to Carle BroMenn for a shooting victim who was shot in the back.

Police say the gunshot came from inside the same vehicle as it traveled through Bloomington.

The 21-year-old victim was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
