St. Jude breaks ground on new Dream Home
Proceeds will help the organization’s mission of caring for young cancer patients.
PEORIA (25News Now) - It’s time to start dreaming about a new home, and 25News’ giveaway to benefit St. Jude.
Ground has been broken on what will be the newest Dream Home. It sits right across the street from the home in Edwards, given away earlier this year.
13,000 tickets will be available for the home, the most St. Jude has ever offered. Kelly Schneider, a development specialist with St. Jude says they have high hopes this year, because of the generosity Central Illinois as shown in years past. “We always try to challenge ourselves to do more and bigger and so we did increase our goal by a little bit, and I absolutely think we’re going to be able to meet that goal and sell out probably pretty quickly. I know our market sells out pretty quickly here, so it’s exciting.”
The tickets will go on sale in January, and they’ll cost $100 each. The lucky winner will be drawn on 25News in April.
