(25News Now) - Bloomington Central Catholic quarterback Colin Hayes could not be stopped in last Friday night’s win over state-ranked Tolono Unity. The 6-foot-6, 235-pound senior quarterback ran for all 6 Saints touchdowns in a blowout win over the Rockets.

Hayes has shown that he’s a true dual-threat quarterback and can beat teams with both his arm and his legs. He’s also proven that he’s a very smart quarterback. As the third-year starter for BCC, Hayes has all kinds of experience and a high football IQ meaning that head coach Kevin Braucht trusts him with the offense, even so far as to check in and out of plays at the line of scrimmage. For his arm, his legs and his mind, Colin Hayes is the 25 Sports Athlete of the Week.
