Eastern Illinois University suspends men’s swimming team due to allegations of hazing

CHARLESTON, Ill (25News Now) - The men’s swim team at Eastern Illinois University has been suspended from competing this fall.

EIU says this follows the disclosure to the team’s head coach of credible reports of hazing.

Final decisions on future competitions and roster eligibility will be determined following the results of the investigation.
