Peoria High basketball star Aaliyah Guyton commits to Iowa

(25News Now) - One of the biggest national recruiting battles in Central Illinois history came to an end on Monday. Peoria High basketball star and top 60 national recruit Aaliyah Guyton announced her commitment to play college basketball at Iowa on Monday.
Guyton, the daughter of former Peoria High and Indiana star and NBA player A.J. Guyton, chose the Hawkeyes from a Top 5 that also included Illinois, Michigan State, Nebraska and Pitt. She’s thrilled to be a Hawkeye and to get the chance to compete in the Big Ten.
