6 arrested, numerous others cited as Peoria County Sheriff’s Office show presence in West Peoria

WEST PEORIA (25News Now) - 6 people were arrested, 10 citations were issued with 55 vehicles stopped as the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office did a detail in West Peoria Friday night.
The detail was done to combat vehicle burglaries and car thefts in the area.
The sheriff’s office also deployed their drones to keep watch over high-risk traffic stops after numerous vehicles fled from deputies.
