130 artists from around the country celebrate art in Peoria
PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria Art Guild invited thousands of art lovers to Peoria’s Riverfront for their 61st annual Fine Art Fair on Peoria’s Riverfront.
Several different forms of art are displayed throughout the weekend, including paintings, pictures, clothing, and music.
Shannon Cox, the Executive Director, says it’s the first year they’re back to their maximum amount of artists since COVID. She says it’s a good way for people to appreciate art in the community.
“There are just so many things to see and hear. We have not only visual artists with all the different mediums, but we have music on CEFCU stage, we have buskers performing throughout the fair...there’s something for everybody,” Cox said.
All the money the Art Guild gets through admissions goes towards their programs.
The Fine Art Fair ends Sunday at 4 p.m.
