Early morning shooting leaves one injured in Normal

NORMAL (25News Now) - Normal Police say one person has non-life threatening injuries after an early morning shooting in Normal.

Police say they were called around 1:20 AM Saturday to the 1500 block of Woods Avenue. Police found shots were fired in a parking lot of a nearby apartment complex.

While there were no reported injuries at the time of the call, dispatch later told officers one victim with a gunshot wound self-transported to OSF St. Joseph Hospital.

Normal Police add that no arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
