25 Sports Football Friday Week 5: Small Schools Highlights

(25News Now) - Our 25 Sports Game of the Week takes us to the Heart of Illinois Conference for big matchup in the big schools division. Class 2A No. 2 Tri-Valley exacted revenge from last year’s loss to El Paso-Gridley with a 31-13 win over the Titans to move to 5-0. Elsewhere in the HOI, Eureka picked up a 42-8 win over Dee-Mack while Heyworth continues to impress with a 29-28 victory against Fieldcrest.

It was rivalry night in the Lincoln Trail-Prairieland Conference. Farmington beat visiting Elmwood-Brimfield 30-26 to stay unbeaten. Stark County also moved to 5-0 with a 20-8 win over West Hancock. Elsewhere, Princeville beat Monmouth United 36-20 while LVC fell to Illini West.

In the Illini Prairie Conference, Prairie Central picked up a 55-14 road win over IVC. Meanwhile, Class 2A No. 5 Bloomington Central Catholic got a big win over Class 3A No. 6 Tolono Unity 42-14.

In the Sangamo Conference, Class 3A No. 7 Olympia picked up a 46-19 win over New Berlin.

In eight-man football, Bushnell Prairie City beat Peoria Heights 46-6.
