Police searching for vehicle of interest in connection with August homicide
PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle of interest connected to a homicide in August.
Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says the vehicle is a black GMC Yukon with Illinois plates DE98690.
The current location of the vehicle is unknown.
Anyone who has any information is asked to contact Detective Jacob Bainter at 309-494-8337 or anonymously to tip411 or CrimeStoppers at 309-673-9000.
Last month, Lovell Eggleston was arrested in connection with that homicide.
He was arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
Maurice Young, 42, of East Virginia Avenue, was shot in the chest and suffered internal injuries.
