Police: Morton man arrested in connection with sexual abuse of woman in East Peoria

EAST PEORIA (25News Now) - East Peoria Police say a Morton man was arrested earlier Tuesday in connection with the sexual abuse of a woman in East Peoria.
Police say 20-year-old Ezekiel Z. Metcalfe of Morton was identified as a suspect through a citizen tip.
Police now say that on Wednesday, they received a report of a 44-year-old woman who had been the victim of a sexual abuse in the 100 block of Shoshone Drive after giving Metcalfe a ride in her vehicle.
The victim provided police a description of the man and further advised the suspect had been working as a door-to-door solicitor for a solar company.
Police say Metcalfe was charged with criminal sexual abuse and transported to the Tazewell County Jail.
