Motorcyclist escapes serious injuries in crash at busy Peoria intersection

PEORIA (25News Now) - A motorcyclist was hurt in a crash with a car Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of War Memorial Drive and North Knoxville Avenue, however that person’s injuries were not life-threatening, according to police.
The crash happened about 3:45 p.m. Police say the motorcyclist was seen talking to officers and moving around. No one else was injured, said Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth.

Traffic was blocked near the crash scene for about a half hour.
