PEORIA (25News Now) - The Peoria Fire Department said it had to use “Jaws Of Life” equipment to rescue a person injured in a crash early Sunday.

First responders were called around 3:12 a.m. to the crash in the 1100 block of West Loucks Avenue, near North Parish Avenue.

The driver of the vehicle had crashed into a parked truck, which caused extensive damage to the front passenger side of their vehicle and resulted in them becoming trapped inside.
