PEORIA (25News Now) - Check out some of the events happening across Central Illinois!

Der Bier Lauf 5K at Peoria Oktoberfest

Grab your dirndls and lederhosen and head out to the Peoria Riverfront for the last day of Oktoberfest! At 12:30 p.m., you can take part in Der Bier Lauf 5K and one-mile walk. There will also be plenty of German food, beer, music and dancing throughout the day.

When: All day September 17

Where: Peoria Riverfront

Cost: $5 at the gate

Woofstock 2023

Get ready for an event that’s far out! SAMS Rescue is hosting Woofstock 2023 at Sommer Park in Peoria. It’s a dog-friendly, outdoor concert featuring music from West Macqueen Street Band. There will also be vendors, food trucks, fun stations and more.

When: September 17 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Where: Sommer Park in Peoria

Cost: $20 at the gate | Kids 12 & under are free

Fall Farm Day

Enjoy a celebration of fall at Gail’s Pumpkin Patch! At the Fall Farm Day, there will be free popcorn wagon rides, a roller slide, goats, and live music from Jeff Cordes.

When: September 17 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Where: Gail’s Pumpkin Patch, 1709 2000th Avenue in Beason

125th Birthday of Fell Park

The Town of Normal is celebrating Fell Park’s 125th anniversary! Fell Park is the town’s oldest public park. It was dedicated to Jesse W. Fell, known as the “founding father” of Normal, in 1922. The celebration will include local vendors, tree planting, limited edition puzzles and entertainment.

When: September 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Gathering of Veterans Pow Wow

Veterans have been gathering for a Pow Wow in Edwards this weekend. The gathering continues today at the Seven Circles Heritage Center, over the hill from Wildlife Prairie Park. There will be vendors starting at 10:00 a.m., as well as Native American singers and dancers starting at 1:00 p.m. The family-friendly event is Native American-based but is open to all cultures.

When: September 17 at 10:00 a.m.
