PEORIA (25News Now) - Any lingering isolated showers will come to an end by dinnertime tonight. Clouds will gradually exit, so skies will be clear overnight. Winds will also become calm, and this combination will allow for another foggy morning. Fog can be dense especially in locations that saw more rain (west of the river), so use caution, extra driving distance, and your low beams when traveling early Monday morning. Lows overnight will fall into the upper 40s and low 50s, so have a sweater out the door as well!

After a foggy start, skies should become partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s.

Once the fog lifts by mid-morning, the rest of Monday will be quiet and partly to mostly sunny. Highs will still be below average in the mid 70s. Our next minor rain chance looks possible Tuesday morning. Models are still in disagreement on if the warm front lifting through Illinois will have any moisture with it, so as of now, only advertising a 20% chance of rain between 9am and 12pm north of I-74. If clouds are able to exit after this, then highs should have no problem climbing into the low 80s.

Valid at 10:30AM Tuesday.

Low 80s and mostly dry weather will be the trend for the remainder of the week. The forecast for the following weekend is uncertain given model disagreement. If anything, watching a rain chance Saturday PM and/or Sunday AM, but confidence is low.

Mid 70s Monday, then low 80s for the remainder of the week.
