Color The West Side initiative helping to spruce up parts of Bloomington

PEORIA (25News Now) - The West Bloomington Revitalization Project gave out close to 50 painting kits to residents early Saturday morning.

Led by Sherwin-Williams Sales Representative Andrew Demkovich, those who stopped by were able to pick from four different colors voted on by the community.

The paint will be used to spruce up the front doors of homes on the West Side to improve the look of the area, ”just trying to make the community look a little bit sharper. Hopefully, the neighbors see it and take little pride that encourages them to do something and a little bit of paint goes a long way so it was a good way to help out the community,” says Demkovich.

The four colors the community chose were juneberry, oceanside, navel, and aquarium.
