25 Sports Football Friday Week 4: Small Schools Highlights

(25News Now) - The Heart of Illinois Conference race is starting to heat up in high school football. Class 2A No. 2 Tri-Valley moved to 4-0 with a 55-12 win over Fieldcrest. Elsewhere in the HOI, Eureka fell to GCMS, Heyworth topped Dee-Mack 41-7 and LeRoy beat Tremont 47-0. In non-conference action, El Paso-Gridley picked up a 45-6win over Elmwood-Brimfield.

In the Lincoln Trail-Prairieland Conference, Farmington remained unbeaten with a 42-13 road win at Mercer County. Elsewhere in LTPC, ROWVA/Williamsfield topped Princeville 55-40.

In the Sangamo Conference, Class 3A No. 9 Olympia battled Class 3A No. 3 Williamsville and got a big-time win 27-20. In the Illini Prairie Conference, Class 2A No. 5 Bloomington Central Catholic moved to 4-0 with a 24-16 win over Monticello. In the Central State 8 Conference, Normal U-High picked up a 28-14 win over Decatur MacArthur.
