Man uninjured after his vehicle stolen Thursday night

PEORIA (25News Now) - A 19-year-old woman was arrested after police found a stolen vehicle Thursday night.

Dallas D. Debattista was arrested for unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Peoria County Jail.

Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says officers were called at around 9:10 p.m. to the 1500 block of Knoxville for a reported robbery, finding a man who told police he was driving on Bigelow when a vehicle stopped in front of him, two armed men exited and robbed him of personal items and demanded his vehicle.

After fleeing the stolen vehicle was located in a business parking lot in the 1800 block of South Laramie Street.

Dabattista was identified after being detained and arrested.

The men who carjacked the vehicle were not found.

The incident remains under investigation.
