Morton (25News Now) - Hundreds of people showed up for night two of the Morton Pumpkin Festival.
The weather was “gordgeous” Thursday night.
Our crew on scene said there were long lines, even before the food was ready.
This is the 57th year for the event.
“We celebrate it with how rich and important agriculture is to our community, but certainly because of the Libby’s Pumpkin Plant. They are still here producing 85 percent of the world’s canned pumpkin, so what better way to celebrate that with coming out and getting a taste of the Morton Pumpkin festival,” said Leigh Ann Brown, Morton Chamber of Commerce.
The festival runs through the 16th.
