Rep. Sharon Chung launches re-election bid

BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) - Democratic Representative Sharon Chung officially announced her re-election campaign for the 91st House District seat on Wednesday.
Chung made the announcement at noon at Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington.
Chung has held the seat since 2022. She says she’s running “to continue to fight for Central Illinois families.”
Her re-election campaign launch comes one week after Republican Desi Anderson entered the race, officially challenging Chung.
