25 Sports Football Friday Week 3: Small Schools Highlights
(25News Now) - State-ranked small schools teams across Central Illinois looked to continue their strong starts in Week 3.
In the Illini Prairie Conference, Bloomington Central Catholic moved to 3-0 on the season with a 44-7 win over PBL. Meanwhile, in the Sangamo Conference, Olympia fell 14-6 fellow state-ranked Athens.
In the Central State Eight Conference, Normal U-High picked up a 42-26 win over Springfield Southeast.
In the Lincoln Trail/Prairieland Conference, Stark County moved to 3-0 with a 35-0 win over A-Town. Fellow LTP member Princeville fell to Knoxville. Elsewhere, LVC fell to Mercer County.
In non-conference action, Eureka handled business with a 47-28 win over Clinton
Other small schools winners on the night included Farmington, Elmwood-Brimfield, Fieldcrest and Tri-Valley
