Experienced Normal Community defense ready for rematch with Normal West

(25News Now) - The Normal Community Ironmen are off to a 2-0 start this season and are ranked 6th in Class 7A. A lot of that success can be attributed to a very stout defense that plays an aggressive, physical and hard-hitting brand of football.
Much off that aggressiveness and hard-hitting mentality stems from when the Ironmen were beaten by rival Normal West a year ago and watching another conference foe, Peoria High, make a deep playoff run. They’re embracing a bit of an underdog attitude as they look to get back their spot as one of Central Illinois’ best teams.
