(25News Now) - A busy Tuesday of high school sports was highlighted by a rivalry matchup in Mid-Illini volleyball. Metamora bested Washington in two sets to pick up a rivalry and conference victory. Elsewhere in the Mid-Illini, Morton beat Canton, Limestone topped East Peoria and Pekin got the better of Dunlap.
In soccer, Peoria Notre Dame continued their undefeated start to the season with a 5-1 win over Champaign Centennial. In the Mid-Illini, Morton beat Metamora 7-0, Washington blanked Pekin 8-0 and Dunlap shutout Limestone 8-0.
In cross country, Normal U-High won both the boys and girls team titles at their own invite at Maxwell Park.
