25 Sports Football Friday 2023 Week 1: Small Schools Highlights

(25News Now) - Several small schools Central Illinois teams open the 2023 season state ranked. That includes last year’s Class 2A state runner-up Tri-Valley. The Class 2A No. 4 Vikings led 14-0 before the game was postponed until 4 p.m. Saturday. Elsewhere, El Paso-Gridley picked up a road win over Macon Meridian.
We also have highlights from the Illini Prairie Conference from Bloomington Central Catholic vs. Pontiac, IVC vs. PBL and Prairie Central vs. Tolono Unity.
In the newly-made Lincoln Trail-Prairieland Conference, we have highlights from Elmwood-Brimfield vs. Knoxville, Stark County vs. Rushville-Industry and Princeville vs. A-Town.
