25 Sports Football Tour: Peoria High Lions

(25News Now) - The Peoria High Lions are looking to make a point this year. One point more than a year ago.
The Lions fell one point shy of a state championship in 2022 with a 45-44 loss to Nazareth Academy in the Class 5A State Championship game. This year they’re trying to be one point better and prove they’re the best team in the state of Illinois.
After being led by a bruising running attack in 2022, the Lions feel they’ll be able to air it out more this year behind senior, third-year starting quarterback Tino Gist and a talented crop of wide receivers. The Lions are ready to once again attack the competition.
