(25News Now) - Practice schedules are being shuffled around as football teams in Central Illinois prepare for the first Football Friday of the season later this week. Thanks to excessive heat, many teams are being forced to practice later in the evening to avoid the highest temperatures of the day.
Meanwhile, our 25 Sports Football Tour continues with a stop in Bloomington to check out the Purple Raiders.
Plus, we’ve got high school volleyball highlights as Metamora took down Peoria Notre Dame, Morton bested Peoria Richwoods, Dunlap fell to Ottawa, IVC topped Princeville and Tremont beat Midwest Central.
