McLean County Coroner identifies man killed in car-bicycle crash

TOWANDA (25News Now) - The McLean County Coroner has identified the man killed in a collision involving a car and a bicycle in Towanda.
The man has been identified as 69-year-old Craig Ryan of Bloomington.
The crash happened at 12:40 p.m. near 1900 East and Candle Ridge Road in Towanda, according to a joint release from the sheriff and coroner. 1900 East is also known as Delco Road.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt. Sheriff Matt Lane said the driver of the car stayed at the scene.
The road will be closed for the next several hours while police conduct an investigation.
